Puntios is a venture building consultancy, creating and developing early stage technology businesses.

The team works with industrial partners and university tech transfer teams to identify, develop and finance disruptive technologies. Venture projects have included AI tools for data driven optimisation of industrial processes, novel data driven financing for distributed energy projects, orphaned knowledge asset identification within large industrials, development of a low carbon seed investment fund, and smaller projects including fundraising for a novel geopolymer cement company.

Simon Hombersley is the founder of Puntios. An experienced early stage technology entrepreneur, he has founded and built three high impact sustainability businesses.
Xampla has the mission ito replace single-use plastics and microplastics. It is a University of Cambridge spin-out. Oxford Flow develops innovative valve and associated technologies, reducing water leakage and fugitive gas emissions. It is a University of Oxford spin-out. Lontra is commercialising an energy efficient compressor technology. It was developed with early support from Imperial Innovations.
