We support the development of innovation strategies. We advise on the development and assessment of programmes to deliver innovation and develop innovative cultures in organisations. And we create, support and build new ventures.
Venture projects have included AI tools for data driven optimisation of industrial processes, novel data driven financing for distributed energy projects, orphaned knowledge asset identification within large industrials, development of a low carbon seed investment fund, and smaller projects including fundraising for a novel geopolymer cement company. Strategy projects include development of a new accelerator programme and assessment of an innovation support grant programme.
Who we are
Puntios is team of senior level consultants, who work on projects around innovation strategy and venture building
The team is led by Simon Hombersley. An experienced early stage technology entrepreneur, he has founded and built high impact sustainability businesses, including Xampla, which has the mission to replace single-use plastics and microplastics. It is a University of Cambridge spin-out, the first UK spin-out to become a B Corp. Oxford Flow develops innovative valve and associated technologies, reducing water leakage and fugitive gas emissions. It is a University of Oxford spin-out.
Courtney Hyde Peyton is a senior sustainability engagement professional, strategist and policy expert, with more than 25 years of unique experience delivering on the needs of business, government bodies and NGOs.
Courtney is the founder of cleantech start-up Aqua21, developing water purification technology for global markets. She is a Panel Member of Forestry and Environment Scotland and has worked through the heritage and sustainability sectors.
Puntios works with training partner PWA, delivering high quality training content around innovation strategy and AI/ML.
PWA are digital education pioneers who’ve been designing and teaching online courses since 2009.
Mark Rogers is an experienced product executive with an AI/ML specialism.
He has created successful products for Amazon, BBC, Oracle Advertising, Brandwatch. He has built products and created and exited companies in the data analytics space. His expertise is in image/video/text analysis, predictive analytics, data modelling.
Mark is an adviser to GroundedAI, and a board member of DitchCarbon.
